POWER LIMITED CLASS BEING OFFERED BY LRBA
January 19th and 20th will be our first ever Power Limited Class. It is being held in conjunction with a full day of Electrical CEU’s. If you need your credits, or know of someone who does, make sure they contact us to get in that class. Those attending on the 20th will be able to attend the Electrical Expo over the lunch break.

HELP WANTED - Volunteers & Silent Auction Items!
We are in need of 5-6 volunteers to help out with the Silent Auction for the Home Builders Show that is held in March. Each year we raise money for scholarships for high school students going into the building trades. This is a very important event for our organization to continue. Read More

Bruce Kunz of the Kunz Law Office in Perham, was our guest speaker. Bruce led a great discussion on LIENS. When and how they could be used. There were a lot of questions and he gave handouts for more information.

Hello 2012! A new year and a fresh start. May all of your New Year’s goals and resolutions become a reality! Our annual banquet is coming soon, as well as, some other exciting events. Be sure and check the calendar of events for details. Last month we met at the Speak Easy and had Bruce Kunz from the Kunz Law Office out of Perham come and speak. He covered lien laws. At the end of the meeting I mentioned that the BAM website has pre-written contracts with lien waivers and other helpful information. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Hopefully things will look better for new homes being built in 2012. Difficult to have a Tour of Homes with very few homes to display. If anyone is interested in having a home on the tour, please let me know and I will work to put something together. It would have to be held on the weekend of the 14th & 15th of April to not conflict with Easter. Read more...

MEMBER SHOWCASE: NEW FOR 2012
The LRBA will continue the popular “Member Showcase” each month. In the past, the Member Showcase was random. This year, the Member Showcase will be randomly drawn each month within the entire membership. If your business has been chosen, the LRBA staff will notify you and give you the opportunity to have a FREE full page feature done on your business. We can work with you to create the feature page, create the page for you, or allow your business to submit your creativity to us! This is a great opportunity to let the membership get to know your company. The LRBA newsletter has a large audience...take advantage of this great FREE MARKETING!! We will start this with the February edition of the newsletter. We will draw from the membership starting the first week of January to allow time for information gathering.
