WaterFurnace Geothermal is proud to announce that Rick Michaelson has completed the Water Furnace Sales and Marketing course and Nathan Olson has completed the Service/Installation Training. Michaelson and Olson are both employed at Modern Heating and Plumbing.

We are in need of 5-6 volunteers to help out with the Silent Auction for the Home Builders Show that is held in March. Each year we raise money for scholarships for high school students going into the building trades. This is a very important event for our organization to continue. Read More

THE ANNUAL MEETING
AND CHRISTMAS PARTY
The Annual Meeting and Christmas Party, on January 20th, was well attended and a lot of fun. We met at the Cactus for a great meal, and bowling following. We played steal a gift and everyone had fun stealing the gifts away from one another. The new board members recognized were Scott Buchholz - Scott Buchholz Construction and Shaun Engelsrud - Kinetico.
All board members present were sworn in for the coming year. Present were Scott Buchholz, Nick Green -Vice President, Shaun Engelsrud, Tim Roble - Past President, and Bryan Schoenberger - President.

February is here and we’re a little closer to warmer and longer days! We recently attended the annual banquet. There was good company as well as a nice dinner and some fun entertainment. New board members were sworn in and it looks like I will be on as president one more year! So far it has been an honor and privilege and I look forward to serving the Association again in 2012. January was another busy month for projects at the LRBA office. We had a great turnout with a full vendor room again, for our Electrical EXPO. A big thanks to Mike Eidenschink for all his work on this Expo.
Hopefully next year other electricians will help on this project, so Mike doesn’t need to do all the leg work himself. Read more...

MEMBER SHOWCASE: NEW FOR 2012
The LRBA will continue the popular “Member Showcase” each month. In the past, the Member Showcase was random. This year, the Member Showcase will be randomly drawn each month within the entire membership. If your business has been chosen, the LRBA staff will notify you and give you the opportunity to have a FREE full page feature done on your business. We can work with you to create the feature page, create the page for you, or allow your business to submit your creativity to us!
This is a great opportunity to let the membership get to know your company, and the LRBA newsletter has a large audience...this is great FREE MARKETING!! We will start this with the March edition as time was short for the February edition of the newsletter. We will draw from the membership starting the first week of February to allow time for information gathering.
