It is time once again for me to call upon you for the home builders annual silent auction. WOW!!! Last year was a huge success. Thanks to all of you who donated, we were able to raise enough money to provide scholarships to high school studenst in several communities. It is so great to see such generous support from everyone, that what makes this event such a great success.
We are hoping that this event will get bigger and better every year!! Last year , serveral people got really creative and made theme baskets, the baskets went really good. I always say to pick out something a woman is gonna bid on. Such as garden items deck ideas, or grilling items. These are just a few ideas, the theme baskets we had last year were: movie baskets youth or adult, pampered chef, tastefully simple, and a spa basket. BE CREATIVE !!!!! I’m sure you could come up with other great ideas. Remember the more money we raise the more scholarships we can hand out.
I am sending this letter to you early, so you can start thinking about what you would like to donate this year and I will follow up with you around Feb 1st. So be ready when I call you. If you already know what you would like to donate, “PLEASE” call me.
