Many hands make light work
Several members of the Lake Region Builders Association came together on Saturday October 11th to build a temporary ramp for Mike Smith’s return home. J & K Marine donated the dock sections and materials were purchased using funds from the Detroit Lakes Newspapers for community projects. Mike Smith was injured while he was helping emergency workers at a disaster drill at the Soo Pass Ranch and he is getting closer to coming home. Those working on the ramp were Perry Nodsle – Nodsle Construction, Ed Jutz – Jutz Excavating, Chad Jutz, Rick Michaelson – Modern Heating & Plumbing, Dave and Nick Francis – Francis Construction, Jim and Dillon Herman – Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling, Stephen Patrick – Maplewood Construction, Tim Roble – Lavelle Co., Francis Genereux – Genereux Construction, and Mathew and Andrew Jutz and Morgan Nodsle. It was raining for part of the time so the work was finished very speedily
