MY VIEW
One more month and a half and I will get to see all of your cheery faces at our first meeting of the fall (I have kind of missed that, but imagine everyone is happy not coming to a meeting).
There isn’t much going on here, but the emails have poured in on the housing bill, the fire sprinklers in residential homes, the Independent Contactor Exemption and more.
I have passed many of these on – are you reading your emails? I am looking for meeting sponsors – see inside the newsletter for more information.
Also, the board is still looking for people to serve on committees. A fun committee, to be involved with, would be the 25th Anniversary celebration for November of next year. A book of all the community project pictures would be great.
If anyone has any, please let me know. I hope to tackle the storage in August or September to look for the old albums. I have put a list of committees in the newsletter, so please look them over and let me know which committees you would like to be on.
Summer has been busy so far for everyone I have talked to, so enjoy our last official summer month.
