BUILDERS BUZZ
Greetings Builders and Associates! I’d like to begin, this month’s newsletter, by introducing myself. I am Al Clark and I am the new President of the LRBA. I am the owner of Al Clark Construction, Inc. which I started in July of 2004. Even though I’ve only been on my own for 5 years, I have 30 years of experience in the construction industry. I am married to Christy Clark who works full time for MMCDC and part time with me. We are the proud parents of 5 children ages 2, 4, 6, 10 and 15. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Perry Nodsle for serving as our President this past year. I hope I can do as great of a job as he and our other past presidents have done. I think it’s safe to say that our annual Christmas party was an enjoyable evening for all. Thank you Linda Jutz, for all your hard work in making it such a great evening. Thank you to Jill Mickelson for catering the event. The food was wonderful.
I’d like to remind you of a couple of events coming up in the next two months. There are two Continuing Education Courses being offered. The first will be February 10th and the second will be on March 3rd. The February course will also include a Table Top Show. Please sign up as soon as possible to get into this class. The March 3rd course will not have a Table Top show so we’d like to see as many people as possible at the February course. The State Builder’s Convention is February 27th – March 1st at Craguns Resort in Brainerd.
Our annual Home Show is scheduled for March 28th and 29th. Many volunteers are needed to make this a successful show, so please contact Sharon or myself to volunteer. Also, we still have openings for vendor booths, so please call us if you’d like to reserve a booth. It’s a great and inexpensive way to get your name out and advertise your goods and services!
