Happy Holidays! Hope everyone’s gifts from Santa were just what you asked for. I wanted a new body, but that didn’t happen.
December brought us another excellent meeting night. Every one of our meetings have been very informative, and that includes our December meeting at Goodin Company. I did not know one thing about Radon, and now I know I better get a kit and test for it.
Rick Michels did a great job of telling us about it, and the Goodin Crew put out a great table of food. These meetings are really hard on my diet but they are well attended.
I saw a couple of faces that I hadn’t seen in a while. The meeting for January is our Annual Banquet/Christmas Party. We will be installing the new Board members, Marga Ybarra – Floor to Ceiling Carpet One and Mike Hough- Hough’s Inc.
We will also recognize the outgoing board members and give out our association awards. We have 66 people signed up to attend the meeting, dinner and theater tickets to Chicago City Limits. Might even have a door prize or two, although Carolyn Heitkamp tells me she is going to win for sure. It will be a fun night – see you on the 8th of January.
I only have November, December, April and May of the 2009 – 2010 meetings open. If you want to host a meeting, we need to get it booked in.
